Herbal remedies for the stomach flu are little problematic. Don’t get me wrong here, there are lots of good remedies for the stomach flu out there that will work. The only problem you will have, is to keep them down. When having the stomach flu you are usually unable to keep food or fluids down for very long. The remedies for the stomach flu need to be swallowed and kept down. With a bad stomach flu this is almost impossible.

This is no reason to give up though. You should definitely give some of the stomach flu remedies a try. Herbal teas are my choice in such a case. While you are fighting to get rid of the stomach flu, the most important thing is to keep your body hydrated no matter what. Drink as much water as possible, as well as some stomach tea from time to time. Instead of eating, you should sip clear broth.

As bad as the stomach flu is, fortunately it most cases it will start to subside in as little as 12 hours. From this point on you can try to drink more tea, which will be very helpful to remove the irritation in your stomach.
